Global Gold Prices Plunge Amid Crude Oil Surge and Interest Rate Fears
Global gold prices took a sharp downturn on September 9, dropping to $4,394.7 per ounce amid rising crude oil prices and increasing treasury yields.
The market's concerns over potential interest rate hikes also contributed to the decline in gold prices.
In Vietnam, domestic gold prices fell by more than 1 million VND, with SJC gold bars quoted at 143.6-146.6 million VND per tael for buying and selling, respectively.
