Global Uncertainty Boosts Gold and Silver Prices Amid Weaker US Dollar
Gold and silver prices rose on Wednesday due to a weaker US dollar and safe-haven demand amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw October gold futures increase by 0.13% to ₹163,041 per 10 grams, while September silver futures gained 0.48% to ₹245,299 per kg.
The Indian Bullion Association reported that 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹163,300 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold stood at ₹149,692.
Silver of 999 purity was priced at ₹246,290 per kg in the cities listed. The prices varied slightly across cities due to local taxes, transportation costs, and other market factors.
