Golar LNG Orders Fourth FLNG Vessel from Chinese Shipyard for $2.45 Billion

Golar LNG has placed an order for its fourth floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) unit, worth approximately $2.45 billion, with Chinese shipyard Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore.

The new vessel will have a capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per annum and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2029.

Golar LNG's controlled liquefaction capacity will increase by about 40% with this addition, reaching over 12 million tonnes per annum.
