Gold and Silver Prices Continue Upward Trend on August 24

The precious metals market is continuing its upward trend on August 24, 2026. Gold and silver prices have been in focus after last week's solid upswing. In the domestic retail space, gold prices opened at a higher level, while MCX futures also showed sharp weekly gains.

According to early morning bullion updates, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,62,810 per 10 grams, and 999 fine silver is quoted at ₹2,47,540 per kg. However, retail rates can vary from city to city due to local taxes, transportation charges, and jewellers' margins.

The latest national reference rates showed that 24K Gold is priced at ₹1,62,810 per 10 grams, while 22K Gold is priced at ₹1,49,243 per 10 grams. Silver 999 Fine is quoted at ₹2,47,540 per kg.
