Gold prices in India have remained constant for 24-carat and 22-carat gold over the past 24 hours amidst the ongoing war in the Middle East. According to the latest data, on August 16, 2026, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,55,130 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold cost Rs 1,42,200 per 10 grams. The price of 18 Carat gold was also steady, standing at Rs 1,16,350 per 10 grams.

The gold prices in India showed minor changes across major cities, with Delhi recording a price of Rs 1,55,280 for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,42,350 for 22-carat gold. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bangalore all recorded the same prices as Bhubaneswar, which was also unchanged at Rs 1,55,130 for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,42,200 for 22-carat gold.

The silver price in India has also remained flat over the past 24 hours. On August 16, 2026, silver costs Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram in major cities, with Bhubaneswar recording a slight increase to Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram.
