With the festive season approaching, investors are expected to boost domestic demand for precious metals like Gold and Silver. According to Navneet Damani, Head of Research, Commodities at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, both metals have recently started moving higher after a consolidation phase.

Damani believes that gold and silver prices are likely to remain elevated, and the current sideways movement presents an opportunity for medium-term investors to accumulate gradually. The expert attributes this optimism to various market factors, including the US rate cycle, inflation, elevated oil prices, and global uncertainty.

While the market outlook is positive for precious metals, it's essential for investors to consider a long-term investment strategy rather than making impulsive decisions based on short-term price fluctuations. Damani recommends accumulating gradually over the next three, six, and twelve months to maximize returns.
