Gold and Silver Prices Soar in India Amid Global Market Rally

The latest available city-wise rates show that 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,63,090 per 10 grams in major cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, while Delhi records a slightly higher rate of Rs 1,63,240 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad is at Rs 1,63,140 per 10 grams.
For 22-carat gold, the rate stands at Rs 1,49,500 per 10 grams in several major cities, while Delhi is at Rs 1,49,650 and Ahmedabad at Rs 1,49,550. Silver has also remained strong, with a latest available rate of around Rs 2,60,000 per kilogram in India.
The precious-metals rally has been supported by global market factors, including a weaker US dollar and increased investor interest in safe-haven assets. Gold recorded a strong weekly performance, while silver continued to attract attention after its recent gains.
