Gold and Silver Prices Soar in India Amid Global Market Trends
The precious metals market in India has seen significant price hikes over the last week. Gold prices have surged, with 24-carat gold increasing by 1800 rupees per 10 grams and 22-carat gold rising by 1650 rupees per 10 grams within a single week.
Silver has also witnessed a massive jump of 10000 rupees per kilogram, bringing its current market price to 240000 rupees per kilogram. The domestic price hike is closely linked to the high levels maintained in the global market, with spot gold trading at approximately 4052 dollars and 78 cents per ounce.
The Indian market prices are influenced by international raw material costs, the movement of the Indian rupee against the US dollar, and central bank policies. The overall demand from investors also impacts the final market price.
