This represents an increase of ₹5,501 in just six days, making the precious metal even more expensive for investors and consumers.
The price of silver has also risen, reaching ₹2.25 lakh per kilogram, with a gain of ₹931 since the last update.
A comparison with the prices at the beginning of August shows that gold has become ₹5,501 costlier in just six days, while silver has seen an increase of ₹7,198 during the same period.
