Gold and Silver Prices Surge Amid US-Iran Tensions

The global bullion market saw an upward trend on August 17 as tensions between the US and Iran escalated.

COMEX gold futures rose by 0.31% to $4,451.10 per ounce, while silver increased by 1.09% to $65.815 per ounce during morning trade.

The LBMA gold price stood at $4,390.70 per ounce in the PM fixing on August 14, and domestic spot gold on MCX closed the previous session at Rs 1,51,744 per 10 grams.
