Gold and silver prices have seen an uptick on August 3, according to data from the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). One kilogram of silver has risen by ₹105 to reach ₹2.18 lakh.

The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has increased by ₹3 to ₹1.43 lakh. This trend is consistent with an upward movement in the market, with gold prices increasing significantly since December 2025.

Compared to the start of this year, silver prices have fallen by ₹12,000. However, according to commodity expert Ajay Kedia, investors can consider purchasing gold and silver as their prices may rise again before the end of the year. By then, gold could reach ₹1.60 lakh, while silver could touch ₹2.80 lakh.
