Gold and Silver Prices Surge as Precious Metals Markets See Mixed Signals
Precious metals prices surged last week, with gold and silver experiencing significant gains. Gold prices rose by 0.9% to $4,053 per ounce, while silver prices increased by 4.1% to $58.20 per ounce.
In the domestic market, gold futures were up 1.6% at ₹1,43,106 per 10 grams, and silver futures rose 2.7% to ₹2,22,138 per kilogram.
The analysts suggest that MCX-Gold's price action is trading within a key range of ₹1,40,000 and ₹1,48,000, with a breakout potentially indicating the direction of the next trend.
For MCX-Silver, the prevailing price action lacks clarity on the direction of the next trend. A breakout above ₹2,39,000 could lead to further strengthening up to ₹2,59,000, while a breach below ₹2,14,000 may trigger a deeper fall to ₹2,00,000.
