Gold and Silver Prices Surge, Peak Midweek Before Late-Week Decline

Gold and silver prices saw significant fluctuations in international and Pakistani markets from July 19 to July 25, 2026. The precious metals experienced a strong surge during the first half of the week, reaching their highest levels on July 22.

International gold started at $4,018 on July 19, dipped slightly to $4,016 on July 20, and then recovered to $4,077 on July 21. It peaked at $4,155 on July 22 but dropped sharply to $4,047 on July 23.

The Pakistani gold rate followed a similar pattern, starting at Rs425,500, touching a low of Rs425,000 on July 20, and climbing to the weekly peak of Rs435,500 on July 22. It ended the week at Rs429,000, with an increase of Rs3,500 compared to the start of the week.

Silver prices also saw significant movements during the week, reaching a high of $60.1 on July 22 and ending at $58.1 on July 25, representing a weekly gain of approximately 3.9%.
