Gold Breakout Accelerates Toward Key Resistance Zone
Gold prices have entered a powerful bullish breakout structure, reaching an intraday high of $4,755 and trading near $4,726. This significant advance from the recent low of $4,378 demonstrates a decisive change in momentum, with price establishing higher highs and higher lows.
The VC PMI analysis indicates that gold remains above the Daily VC PMI at $4,696, favoring continuation toward Daily Sell 1 at $4,741 and potentially breaking through to the next major resistance at approximately $4,788 Weekly Sell 1. A confirmed breakout above this zone exposes the next major target at around $4,800.
While corrections may initially find support at the Daily Mean of $4,696, a sustained move through the psychological $4,750-$4,800 area could initiate an acceleration phase toward higher geometric objectives. Failure at these upper resistance levels would favor mean reversion toward $4,706 and potentially $4,654.
Gold's momentum is also driven by fundamental factors such as lower Treasury yields, dollar weakness, and renewed investor demand, which have strengthened the metal to a multi-month high. Gold ETF holdings recorded their strongest monthly inflows in ten months, further boosting investor interest.
