Gold Developers Shine Amid Rising Prices: Aya Gold & Silver Hits New High
Aya Gold & Silver's shares have reached an all-time high of CAD 40, outperforming the current gold and silver prices. The company is positioning itself for a significant increase in revenue with its second mine, Boumadine, currently under development in south-eastern Morocco.
The Boumadine project is expected to provide Aya Gold & Silver with a substantial boost in production, with anticipated metal grades of 443 g/t silver equivalent and 4.76 g/t gold equivalent over the first five years of operation. This would transform the company from a pure silver producer into a precious metals miner, generating around 50% of its revenue from silver and 35-40% from gold.
Aya Gold & Silver's strong financial position, with CAD 182.8 million in cash reserves, enables it to finance investments in Boumadine without significant burden. The company has also demonstrated operational efficiency, with a cost of USD 16.82 per ounce of silver extracted at its main mine, Zgounder.
