Gold Falls Amid Middle East Uncertainty and Inflation Concerns

Gold prices slipped today due to uncertainty over the Middle East conflict and inflation concerns.

The conflict in the region has kept investors on edge, causing them to be cautious ahead of upcoming US employment reports that could shed light on the Federal Reserve's policy path.

Spot gold fell by 0.3% to $4,029.84 an ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery dropped 0.5% to $4,029.00 an ounce.

The prices of other precious metals also declined: spot silver decreased by 0.8% to $57.18 an ounce, platinum fell 1.6% to $1,616.42 an ounce, and palladium dropped 1.8% to $1,251.16 an ounce.
