Gold Futures Close Lower Amid Weakening Dollar Ahead of FOMC Minutes
Gold futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Wednesday, despite a weakening US dollar ahead of the release of the US Federal Open Market Committee's meeting minutes.
The spot-month August 2026 contract slipped to $4,360.0 per troy ounce from Tuesday’s $4,393.70 per troy ounce, while the September 2026 contract declined to $4,376.60 per troy ounce from $4,410.30 previously.
