Gold Futures Rise as Speculators Bet on Firm Spot Demand
Gold prices inched up on Friday to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams due to firm spot demand and speculators creating fresh positions.
The October delivery of gold futures traded higher by Rs 309, or 0.20 per cent, at Rs 1,52,650 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange in a business turnover of 10,209 lots.
This rise in prices comes after a decline in silver prices to Rs 2.33 lakh per kg.
