Gold Futures Rise by Rs 115 in India Amid Firm Demand
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 115 to Rs 1.62 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade on Wednesday.
The increase was due to speculators creating fresh positions on a firm spot demand, analysts said.
The yellow metal contract for October delivery traded higher by Rs 115, or 0.07 per cent, at Rs 1,62,997 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 674 lots.
Gold futures fell 0.30 per cent to USD 4,643.42 per ounce in New York.
