Gold Futures Rise on Firm Spot Demand, Reaches ₹1.52 Lakh Per 10 Grams
Gold futures rose on firm spot demand, according to data from the Multi Commodity Exchange. The yellow metal contract for the October delivery traded higher by ₹190, or 0.12%, at ₹1,52,769 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 635 lots.
The rise was due to fresh positions created by market participants on strong spot demand, analysts said.
In New York, gold futures also rose 0.65% to $4,384.16 per ounce.
