Gold Futures Snap Two-Session Decline with Strong Rally
Gold futures have snapped a two-session losing streak after rising by $63.80 per troy ounce to $4,100.10 on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. This increase represents a gain of 1.58% and is the largest single-day rise in both dollar and percentage terms since July 22.
The settlement price of $4,100.10 marks the highest level for gold since July 22, ending two consecutive days of decline. Despite this rebound, gold remains 22.91% below its 52-week high of $5,318.40, which was reached on January 29.
Compared to last year, gold has risen by 24.50%, but it still lags behind its all-time record settlement price of $5,318.40 from January 29. For the month of July, gold has gained 1.92%.
