Gold Futures Surge 0.79% to Rs 1.63 Lakh Per 10 Grams
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange have reached Rs 1.63 lakh per 10 grams, marking an increase of Rs 1,283 or 0.79% from the previous day's price. This rise in gold prices is attributed to speculators creating fresh positions due to a firm spot demand.
The yellow metal contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 1,63,721 per 10 grams, while the white metal for September delivery increased by Rs 222 or 0.09% to Rs 2,46,819 per kilogram in futures trade.
