Gold Futures Surge on Spot Demand and Speculator Activity
Gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose to ₹1,50,130 per 10 grams in October delivery contracts, up by ₹1,272 or 0.85% from the previous day.
The increase was driven by spot demand and speculators creating fresh positions, according to analysts.
Globally, gold futures also rose 1.13% to $4,287.50 per ounce in New York.
