Gold Futures Surge on Spot Demand, Reach Rs 1.55 Lakh Per 10 Grams
New Delhi - On Monday, gold prices rose by Rs 676 to Rs 1.55 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade due to increased spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw the yellow metal contracts for October delivery trading higher by Rs 676, or 0.44 percent, at Rs 1,55,182 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,111 lots.
Analysts stated that fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in precious metal prices.
