Gold Hits Five-Month High Amid US-Iran Tensions

Gold prices surged in Delhi to a five-month high of ₹1.64 lakh per 10 grams, driven by firm international trends and safe-haven demand amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran.

The All India Sarafa Association reported that gold of 99.9 percent purity advanced ₹900 to reach ₹1,64,400 per 10 grams, inclusive of taxes.

This marks a return to levels seen in March, when gold traded at ₹1,64,300 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also extended their rally, gaining ₹3,500 to reach a more than four-month high of ₹2,53,500 per kilogram, inclusive of taxes.
