Gold Hits Three-Month High on Monday Rally
Gold prices reached their highest level in over three months on Monday, August 24, according to recent market data. The precious metal rose by 0.7% to $4,636.34 an ounce, marking a significant increase since May 15. US gold futures also gained 0.3% to $4,694.80 an ounce.
In addition to gold, other precious metals saw increases in value as well. Spot silver rose by 0.8% to $69.51 an ounce, while platinum gained 0.4% to $1,885.38 and palladium edged up 0.1% to $1,350.53.
