Gold Jumps Rs 3,600 in Local Market
The price of gold in Nepal's local market has seen an increase, with fine gold now trading at Rs 305,200 per tola (11.66 grams), up from Rs 301,600 on Friday. This represents a rise of Rs 3,600 per tola.
Silver prices have also risen by Rs 50 per tola, with the metal now trading at Rs 4,710 per tola, up from Rs 4,660 on Friday.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has fixed these prices for gold and silver in the local market. International markets have also seen a rise in gold and silver prices, with gold trading at USD 4,377 per ounce and silver at USD 64 per ounce, according to international media reports.
