According to the updated price list on August 10, 2026, SJC gold bars are listed at 141 million VND/ounce for buying and 144 million VND/ounce for selling. This is a contrast to the previous session's significant increase, when SJC gold rose by as much as 1.8 million VND/ounce in just one day.
The price gap between brands remains quite large, with BTMC VRTL having the highest price at 141.5 million VND/ounce for buying and 145.5 million VND/ounce for selling.
World gold prices are hovering around $4,342 per ounce, nearly unchanged from August 9th. The market is currently sensitive to inflation data, particularly the US consumer price index report scheduled for release on August 12, 2026.
