Gold Price Breakout Hinges on Holding Above Key Decision Zone
Gold futures are currently trading near $4,462, just above the weekly VC PMI mean of $4,455 and the daily mean of $4,448. This cluster is considered a decision zone, where holding above it keeps the bias constructive and favors a reversion towards Daily Sell 1 at $4,499, followed by Daily Sell 2 at $4,536. The weekly sell objective remains at $4,581.
A confirmed close above $4,499 is needed to strengthen the breakout case. However, if the mean cluster fails to hold, attention will shift to Daily Buy 2 at $4,404, then the $4,351 weekly buy level and Daily Buy 1 at $4,346.
The VC PMI strategy recommends avoiding initiating positions in the congested mean cluster. Long exposure is favored on disciplined corrections into blue buy zones using reduced size and predefined risk. Above $4,499, profits should be managed towards $4,536 and $4,581. Below $4,404, tighter risk control is required.
