Gold Price Breaks Above Key Resistance, Eyes $4,200 Target
The price of gold has shown significant improvement in recent days, breaking above key resistance levels and indicating strong short-term momentum. The current price sits at $4,103, with the RSI well above 60 levels but not yet overbought.
The trendline resistance for the entire move has been a challenge for bulls, with initial resistance zones starting at $4,139 and following up at $4,200, then $4,246 levels. On the downside, the first support level is at $4,067, followed by $3,998.
A breakout above the $4,139 zone could continue to drive prices upward, targeting $4,200 levels. However, a failure below the descending trendline could push prices back toward the $4,067-$3,998 support zone before buyers attempt another bounce.
