Gold Price Crashes in Local Market
The gold price has plummeted in the local market, falling by Rs15,100 per tola to Rs467,936. This decline is part of a broader trend that saw gold prices drop sharply globally on Saturday.
In the international bullion market, gold fell by $151 per ounce to $4,454. The price of silver also dropped significantly, with a decrease of Rs397 per tola to Rs7,112.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported these prices, which reflect the current market situation.
Looking at previous days' data, on Friday, gold prices remained unchanged in the local market. However, on Thursday, gold fell by Rs3,500 per tola to Rs483,036 and by Rs3,001 per 10 grams to Rs414,125.
