Gold Price Drops Dramatically in Pakistan's Local Market Amid Global Slump
The price of gold has fallen in Pakistan's local market, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The 24-karat gold per tola saw a decline of Rs3,600, settling at Rs465,536.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,086 to Rs399,122. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined in value by Rs2,829 to Rs365,875.
The international market also witnessed a decline in gold prices, with the price falling by $36 to $4,430 per ounce. This trend is reflected in Pakistan's local market as well, where silver prices have decreased. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs63 to Rs7,098, while 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs54 to Rs6,085.
