Gold Price Drops Significantly in Indian Markets

The gold and silver prices have seen a significant decline in the past week. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹4,694, settling at ₹1,54,884 per 10 grams. This represents a decrease from the previous week's rate.

The silver prices also saw a decline, falling by ₹8,436 to ₹2,35,456 per kilogram.

The IBJA does not release gold rates on Saturdays and Sundays. The current gold rates in various cities across India are as follows:

Delhi: 24-carat gold (10g) - ₹154,950, 22-carat gold (10g) - ₹142,050, 18-carat gold (10g) - ₹116,250

Mumbai: 24-carat gold (10g) - ₹154,800, 22-carat gold (10g) - ₹141,900, 18-carat gold (10g) - ₹116,100
