Gold Price Hikes 1050 Taka in Bangladesh
The price of gold jewelry in Bangladesh has increased significantly, with the cost of 22-carat gold rising to Tk 2,32,930 per bhori (11.664 grams), including VAT.
This change is effective as of 10:00am on Saturday, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS).
The new price was set after a meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring, where Dr Dewan Aminul Islam Shaheen, the committee chairman, signed a notice announcing the revised rate.
