Gold Price in Amritsar Sees Record Highs and Lows Throughout August
The gold market in Amritsar saw significant fluctuations throughout August 2026. As per the historical data, the 24k gold price opened at ₹1,44,370 on August 01 and reached a high of ₹1,52,550 by August 09. The lowest rate in August was recorded at ₹1,44,140 on August 05.
Comparing it to July, the prices rose from ₹1,43,940 on July 03 to ₹1,47,160 on July 04. However, the overall performance for July was rising, with a net gain of ₹550. In contrast, June saw a decline in gold prices, dropping from ₹1,57,180 on June 01 to ₹1,42,070 by June 30.
The trend continued in May, where the price rose from ₹1,50,820 on May 01 to ₹1,68,050 on May 14. April witnessed a slight increase as well, rising from ₹1,49,670 on April 01 to ₹1,55,930 on April 19.
