Gold Price in Azerbaijan Rises Despite Weekly Decline
The price of gold in Azerbaijan experienced fluctuations between August 24 and 28. Over this period, the price of one troy ounce (31.1034768 grams) of gold fell by AZN 96.679 ($56.87), or 1.2%. This decline was observed despite a notable increase in the average price of gold for the week.
The weekly average price of gold rose by AZN 321.9307 ($189.37), or 4.3%, compared to the previous week, reaching AZN 7,857.4748 ($4,622.04). This upward trend indicates a positive shift in the market for gold.
The prices of other precious metals in Azerbaijan also saw movements during this period. The price of one troy ounce of silver increased by AZN 0.0427 ($0.0251), or 0.03%, while the average price rose by AZN 4.78828 ($2.82), or 4.3%. The price of platinum fell by AZN 58.123 ($34.19), or 1.8%, but its weekly average price increased by AZN 137.5147 ($80.89), or 4.5%.
The price of one troy ounce of palladium in Azerbaijan experienced a slight increase, rising by AZN 3.4085 ($2.01), or 0.1%. Its weekly average price increased by AZN 36.5738 ($21.51), or 1.6%.
