Gold Price in Pakistan Jumps Rs800 Per Tola Amid International Gains
The price of gold in Pakistan has increased significantly over the past few days. On Monday, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs800 per tola, reaching a new high of Rs457,336. This is the latest development in an upward trend that began earlier this month.
Bullion markets across the country reported a cumulative increase of Rs28,600 per tola over four consecutive days, with 24-karat gold prices rising by Rs2,200 per tola just a day before. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,887, reaching Rs391,406.
The international market has seen similar gains, with the price of gold increasing by $8 per ounce to $4,349. However, silver prices have declined in Pakistan, falling by Rs113 per tola to Rs6,826. Bullion dealers attribute these changes to fluctuations in the global market.
