Gold Price in Pakistan Surges Amid International Gains
The price of gold in Pakistan rose on Monday, following gains in the international market. The local rate for gold per tola reached Rs431,736 after a gain of Rs4,000 during the day.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shared rates showing that 10-gram gold was sold at Rs370,144, up by Rs3,430 from previous levels. These prices are similar to those seen on Saturday, when gold per tola reached Rs427,736 after a gain of Rs300.
The international rate of gold also increased, with the price reaching $4,093 per ounce (with a premium of $20), up by $40 from previous levels. Meanwhile, the price of silver rose by Rs100 to reach Rs6,397 per tola.
