The gold price in Vietnam on September 14, 2026 is around 146 million VND per tael. The price of SJC gold bars closed at 143-146 million VND/ounce (buy-sell), a decrease of 1.6 million VND compared to the previous session.

The world gold price has failed to hold its support level of $4,400 per ounce and stood at $4,348 per ounce, down $81 from the previous week's close of $4,429 per ounce.

Analysts believe that the upward momentum in precious metals is limited by core inflation data, which may lead to a hawkish stance on interest rates by the Federal Reserve. However, despite this unfavorable news, gold has held onto key support levels and remains above its 50-day moving average around $4,269 per ounce.

This indicates that bargain-hunting buying is emerging, particularly from long-term investors who view corrections as opportunities to accumulate.
