Gold Price Jumps ₹6,761 as Silver Surges ₹13,086 Amid Inflation Concerns
Gold and silver prices have seen fluctuations in India this week, with both metals increasing in value. The price of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹6,761 to ₹1,49,621 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold has increased by ₹6,193 to ₹1,37,053 per 10 grams.
The price of silver has also seen a significant increase, rising by ₹13,086 to ₹2,31,381 per kg. According to experts, the rise in gold and silver is driven by inflation risk amid weakness in crude oil, as well as the weakening of the dollar index.
The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) releases prices for gold and silver twice a day in morning and evening sessions. Internationally, the price of gold remains at $4,400 per ounce, while the price of silver has reached close to $63 per ounce.
