Gold Price Jumps by Rs400 in Pakistan After Previous Day's Sharp Decline
The gold price in Pakistan edged higher on September 12, 2026, as one tola of gold increased by Rs400 to reach Rs457,136. This move followed a sharp decline of Rs5,600 recorded in the previous session.
Domestically, the 24-karat gold price per tola settled at Rs457,136, while the price of 10 grams of gold gained Rs343, taking it to Rs391,920. Internationally, gold was trading around $4,346 per ounce, providing a key reference for movements in the local market.
Despite this recovery, the local gold market only regained a small portion of Friday's heavy losses. The price of silver also remained active in the local precious-metals market, with 999.0 Tezabi silver priced at Rs6,800 and a 1-kilogram silver bar quoted at Rs6,900.
The gold prices in Pakistan remain closely connected to movements in the international bullion market, which saw international gold trading at elevated levels. Further movements in the global market could continue to influence domestic prices in the coming sessions.
