Gold Price Jumps Rs2,400 in Pakistan Amid Global Market Shifts
The price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs2,400 per tola to reach Rs459,736 for 24-karat gold. This is according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, which monitors the prices based on interbank exchange rates with purity set at 999.1 for 24-karat gold.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold has also risen by Rs2,058 to Rs394,149, while 22-karat gold of 10 grams has increased by Rs1,887 to Rs361,316.
Internationally, the price of gold is quoted at $4,373 per ounce, showing a rise of $24. The price of silver has also increased in Pakistan, with 24-karat silver rising by Rs62 per tola to Rs6,965.
