Gold Price Plunges ₹4,694 This Week: Check Latest Rates
The gold and silver prices have declined significantly in the past week. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has fallen by ₹4,694 this week, settling at ₹1,54,884 per 10 grams. This is down from its previous price of ₹1,59,578 per 10 grams.
The price of 22-carat gold has dropped to ₹1,41,874 per 10 grams, while the price of 18-carat gold has fallen to ₹1,16,163 per 10 grams, down from ₹1,19,684 per 10 grams. The prices of silver have also declined, with a drop of ₹8,436 in its price this week.
The IBJA does not release gold rates on Saturdays and Sundays. The current prices for different cities are as follows: Delhi Gold Rate - 24-Carat Gold (10g) - ₹154,950, Mumbai Gold Rate - 24-Carat Gold (10g) - ₹154,800, Kolkata Gold Rate - 24-Carat Gold (10g) - ₹154,800, Chennai Gold Rate - 24-Carat Gold (10g) - ₹156,670, and so on.
