Gold Price Plunges Below Rs 300,000 in Nepal

The price of fine gold in Nepal has dropped significantly, falling below the Rs 300,000 mark per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold declined by Rs 8,800 per tola on Wednesday. This puts the current price at Rs 297,300 per tola, down from Rs 306,100 per tola on Tuesday.

The price drop was not limited to gold as the value of silver also fell. The Federation reported that the price of silver decreased by Rs 185 per tola to Rs 4,580 on Wednesday, down from Rs 4,765 per tola on Tuesday.
