Gold Price Reverses Direction, World Gold Prices Surge to 4,058.8 USD/Ounce
The gold price has reversed direction, according to recent market updates. As of 6:00 AM on August 3, SJC gold bar prices listed by Phu Quy Jewelry Group were at 137-141 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a buying - selling difference of 4 million VND/tael. DOJI also listed the same price range.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the SJC gold bar price was listed at 1383-142.3 million VND/tael (buying - selling) with a buying - selling difference of 3.9 million VND/tael. The prices for plain gold rings were similarly listed across various business units.
Meanwhile, the world gold price has increased to around 4,058.8 USD/ounce as of 7:55 AM, up 17.1 USD from previous trading sessions. Analysts are cautious about the outlook this week, predicting that gold prices may continue to fluctuate around the 4,000 USD/ounce mark.
A survey of Wall Street experts found that 29% predict an increase in gold prices, while 35% believe they will decrease. Individual investors remain optimistic, with 47% expecting gold prices to rise and 30% forecasting a decline.
