Gold Price Rises Amid Market Uncertainty
The price of gold continues to rise as investors seek safe-haven assets amidst market uncertainty. In Vietnam, SJC gold bar prices were listed at 139.2-142.2 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
Phu Quy Jewelry Group and DOJI listed the prices of SJC gold bars at 139.2-142.2 million VND/tael (buying - selling), while Bao Tin Minh Chau listed them at 140.6-144.6 million VND/tael, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael in both directions.
The world gold price was recorded at around $4,336.1 per ounce, an increase of $102.8 from the previous session. This surge is attributed to weak US job data, which reduced expectations that the Federal Reserve will continue to raise interest rates.
