Gold Price Soars on MCX, Silver Rises 10.64% in India

The price of gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has reached ₹1.64 lakh per kilogram for 24K gold and ₹2.60 lakh per kilogram for silver, both of which have risen significantly in recent days.

This increase is largely due to strong global demand, with spot gold trading at $4,650.79 per ounce and US gold futures trading at $4,683.80 per ounce, up by more than 5% in the past week.

Domestically, the prices of different purity levels of gold have also gone up, with 24K gold trading at ₹16,397 per gram, 22K gold trading at ₹15,030 per gram, and 18K gold trading at ₹12,293 per gram.
