Gold Price Surges by 560 Rupees Per Tola in Local Market
The price of gold and silver has seen an increase in the local market. Compared to last Friday, the price of hallmarked gold has risen by Rs 1,600 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 60.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, one tola of hallmarked gold is now priced at Rs 287,100, with a corresponding silver price of Rs 4,410. This marks an increase from last Friday's prices of Rs 285,500 per tola for gold and Rs 4,350 for silver.
The recent price adjustments follow the trend seen on Thursday, where one tola of hallmarked gold was traded at Rs 291,300 and silver at Rs 4,505. The exact reasons behind these fluctuations are not specified in the report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations.
