Gold Price Surges in Nepal
The price of gold has surged in Nepal's domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association. The association announced that the price of gold increased by Rs 8,000 per tola (11.66 grammes) to reach Rs 296,000 per tola. This marks a significant jump from the previous day's price of Rs 288,000 per tola.
The price of silver has also seen an increase, rising by Rs 95 per tola to stand at Rs 4,570 per tola. The association attributed these changes to international market trends, where gold is priced at 4,265 US dollars per ounce and silver at 62 US dollars per ounce.
