Gold Price Tumbles Amid Lower Oil Prices, Slowing Treasury Yields
The price of gold (XAU/USD) has dropped by 0.4% to around $4,630 during the European trading session on Tuesday.
This decline comes after the metal failed to sustain a rally above $4,700 earlier in the day.
The yellow metal is struggling to attract buyers despite a sharp drop in oil prices, which has led to a decrease in US Treasury Yields.
US 10-year yields have fallen by 0.6% to near 4.67%, while 30-year US Treasury Yields are down 0.55% to around 5.2%.
